What is Reiki Energy Healing?
Let’s just be real: healing isn’t always pretty — but it is possible. Reiki is one of the tools that helps us get there.
Reiki is an energy healing practice that supports your nervous system, clears emotional buildup, and helps your body remember how to feel safe again. It’s gentle. Non-invasive. You stay fully clothed and just rest on the table while I work with energy — through light touch, intention, and intuition — to move what’s stuck and restore what’s been drained.
This isn’t a magic wand. It’s not a performance. It’s space. Real, sacred, no-pressure space to breathe, release, and reconnect to yourself.
I use stones, essential oils, and whatever else helps you drop into the moment. It’s physical and energetic. Emotional and practical.

What to Expect in Your Session
Whether it’s your first Reiki session ever or your fiftieth, here’s what you can expect when you come to Botanica Healing:
The Setup
You’ll lie fully clothed on a comfortable massage table. Think cozy blankets, soft lighting, and a vibe that tells your nervous system it’s okay to relax.
Before we start, we’ll chat briefly about what’s going on — physically, emotionally, energetically — and what you’d like to work on or release. There’s no wrong answer. Some people show up with clear intentions; others just know they feel off. Both are welcome.
The Session
Once you’re settled, I’ll begin the Reiki work. It’s a hands-on (or just-above-the-body) technique that works with your energy field — moving stuck emotions, clearing mental clutter, and helping your body return to a calm, balanced state.
During the session, I may also use:
Healing stones to support your energy centers (chakras)
Essential oils for emotional grounding and sensory support
Intuitive guidance if anything comes up that feels worth naming or processing
Most people feel deeply relaxed, emotional, or lighter afterward. Some feel physical shifts. Others feel nothing during, but notice subtle changes unfold over the next few days. There’s no “right” way to experience Reiki — your body leads.
After the Session
We’ll take a few minutes to debrief if you’d like — or you’re totally free to float home in that post-Reiki haze. Either way, I’ll make sure you’re grounded and good to go before you leave.
You’ll be seen. Held. Supported. And offered space to reconnect with your body and your self — without judgment or pressure.
